Remember When
The “Remember When” page
is featuring one club year, 1969 – 1970, in the life of the Young Men’s
Advertising & Sales Club of Toronto. The club was founded by Alec Phare
in 1937 and was disbanded in 1974.
Thanks to Past President Jim Rosenthal, we were able to scan items from his
Annual Report.
The 1969 – 1970 club year was full of excitement, fun and great guest
speakers, speakers like Gerry Goodis and Paul Firestone. The fun was in the
form of Craig Budreo’s Bash and, of course, the annual Weekend-in-the-Woods.
The Ad Sales News was organized by Paul Harris had some excellent scribes
– Frank Gardiner, Danny Rosenthal and Gary McWilliams and, who could
forget the featured girls!
For those of you with “OLD” memories, here are a few world events
